Bertrand Guillon, UK development director for SNCF Proximités, said: ‘We are very pleased to have qualified for this tender and will do all we can to bring our resources, experience and expertise to the InterCity West Coast franchise for the benefit of rail customers.'
On 13th December, Govia, the joint venture between Keolis and the Go-Ahead Group, launched the full high speed rail service, running between London and the county of Kent.
Govia, the joint venture between Keolis and Go-Ahead, has been retained as holder of the new South Central franchise, known as Southern, which it has operated since 2001.
